Seriously So Funny

Have you ever felt depressed after looking at blogs for awhile?

Wondered why everyone else had such a great life and just went to Hawaii/Mexico/Disneyland while you were at home surrounded by piles of unfolded laundry, unanswered emails, unshopped for groceries?

Why they had kids who were clean and perfect while yours are currently stepping in the ice cream they spilled on the kitchen floor, tracking it around the house at the same time they are having an air soft battle with all the neighborhood kids in which the INSIDE of your house appears to be some sort of base and weapons are being fired at and from all doors and windows on the first floor?

Why their husbands bring them flowers every week when you are grateful for 5 minutes of uninterrupted conversation in any one day?

Well, I don't know anything about any of that, but I think that must be how this person felt when they created the ultimate mockery blog. Need a good laugh? Try www.seriouslysoblessed.blogspot.com If that doesn't work, come hang with me for an afternoon - I love my messy, air softing, busy life and I'd be happy to share with you!

I totally know what you mean! For us right now it's like, "how do all of this people our age ALREADY own their own homes??" Yeah, blogging is great, but it can be troublesome at times too!

I'm so sorry I never got you that CD of pictures! Would you still like it? We have a lot of great pictures. Let me know.

P.S. I KNEW he looked familiar! Your husband took Ryan's place as the play-by-play guy for PCTV! I saw him at the last game and knew I knew who he was but I couldn't quite remember. Ryan misses doing that :( He's trying to focus on our new business though.

I can't believe that your life could ever be that crazy - that would be my life. I love the visual of your house being a fort though! Sometimes that kind of excitement is great! I know what you mean about the two minute conversation - I have to call Jeff at work while I am driving to one more place to run one more errand - this is the only time we get to talk somewhat uninterrupted! P.S. Let Jen F. know that I would love to see her blog and I love her photography!

Robyn, Trying really hard to ditch the DC.

Rachael, Comments from my blog get sent to my email, which comes to my phone. For about 5 seconds I thought you were saying I had the funniest/most clever blog ever. Then I realized what post you had commented on. My moment of greatness was fleeting but strangely satisfying. ha!

I actually bought a t-shirt from her website! It says on the front, "My life is a kick-A fairy tale." It's my special shirt to wear on the days when I feel like jumping off a cliff ;-)
